Vitamin K

Vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin used as a cosmetic active ingredient, mainly for improving the appearance of certain skin concerns.

Usage Levels

• Usually used at 0.1% – 1%
• Often comes as:
  • Vitamin K1
  • Or pre-dispersed in oil

It is oil-soluble → must go in the oil phase

Sensitive to light and oxidation → use antioxidants like Vitamin E

Works best in:

• Eye creams
• Repair serums
• Post-treatment creams
